When Did Christianity Become All About Me?

-I’ll keep this post short-

I have this strong rage towards modern feminists, and I was thinking to myself “instead of all the feminists complaining about how it’s ‘societie’s’ fault they are treated this way, why don’t they just go and do something about it. They are always whinging about everything on social media – I mean why don’t they just ask for a pay rise, or play a boy’s sport, or not wear a bra – and do it just because they believe that’s right? Why do they have to always complain about it?!

Hah, and then that thought backfired.

Who am I to judge?

They’re better feminists than I am a Christian.

I keep all of my money to myself, I do things to benefit my own life, I am selfish, I am lazy, I don’t do anything to show my fellow neighbours that God loves them. All I care about is myself.

When did Christianity become all about me?

Christianity: Love God, Love Others.

It’s so simple, yet so difficult.

I pray that God helps me to show His love each day, even to the person I avoided on the street.

– Cassia

“I mean that to be in a relationship with God is to be loved purely and furiously. And a person who thinks himself unloveable cannot be in a relationship with God because he can’t accept who God is; a Being that is love. We learn that we are loveable or unloveable from other people,” Paul says. “That is why God tells us so many times to love each other.”
